Summary

OSRAM SYLVANIA's position of leadership in the lighting industry and its vision for the future require the Financial Organization to play a key role through continuous improvement in measurement, analysis and resource allocation. Total quality and internal and external customer satisfaction are constant goals. As a Finance Associate, you will be given assignments with immediate exposure to our business.

Assignments are at the corporate, division and plant level and will include diverse responsibilities in financial analysis, accounting and internal auditing such as:

• Coordinating and consolidating the development of an annual budget and analyzing results and variances

• Working closely with factory personnel to develop standards, identify cost reduction opportunities and prepare capital expenditure requests

• Developing an integrated reporting system which measures the profitability and key indicators of product lines within a division

• Analyzing historical and forecasted market price trends and recommending short and long term actions to enhance product profitability

Academic Requirements:

• BS in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics

• Minimum of 12 credit hours of accounting
