Available in 1, 2, 3 and 4-lamp models with a choice of 0.88 and 0.78 ballast factors, these ballasts all feature over 90% efficiency. When compared with F40T12 magnetically ballasted fluorescent systems, QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency T8 systems provide 30-50% energy savings.

SYLVANIA QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency (QHE) systems also feature universal voltage (120-277V), <10% total harmonic distortion and operate above 42kHz, reducing potential interference with infrared control systems. QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency (QHE) systems are compatible with standard and energy saving T8 fluorescent lamps. When combined with OCTRON SUPERSAVER FO28 lamps, system efficacies (LPW) exceed 100. When specified with OCTRON lamps QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency (QHE) systems are covered by SYLVANIA’s QUICK 60+^® warranty, the first and most comprehensive lamp and ballast warranty in the industry.

SYLVANIA has enhanced its extensive family of SUPER METALARC PULSE START metal halide lamps with new reduced outer jacket types. The 200W COMPACT SUPER METALARC PULSE START lamps feature 50% longer life than standard 250W metal halide lamps in a small ET23.5 envelope. This lamp delivers 95 lumens per watt in a design that allows for improved luminaire optics and efficiency. Also available are new 400W COMPACT SUPER METALARC PULSE START lamps that feature 24% higher mean lumens than standard M400/U lamps and a BT28 bulb shape. Also of note, the life rating on 250W clear and coated SUPER METALARC PULSE START lamps has been increased to 20,000 hours, which is double the life of standard 250W metal halide lamps. SUPER METALARC PULSE START lamps combine new metal halide technology with proven ignitor technology. The result is a more transparent arc tube over lamp life, yielding less color shift, higher lumen maintenance and long lamp life.
