QUICKTRONIC POWERSENSE ballasts feature micro-controller technology to offer the industry’s most adaptable dimming ballast. QUICKTRONIC POWERSENSE ballasts operate from standard low-voltage (0-10Vdc) fluorescent controllers or compatible 2-wire power-line fluorescent dimmers, making them ideal for individual office lighting or automated building applications, both in new construction and retrofit projects. Compatibility with low-voltage controls, power-line dimmers and any line voltage from 120V to 277V, provides the flexibility to greatly simplify the specification, purchasing and installation process.

SYLVANIA has expanded its QUICKTRONIC DALI family of ballasts to include new types for T4 and T5 compact fluorescent lamps.  These ballasts feature digital control using the DALI standard.  DALI, digital addressable lighting interface, is a worldwide digital interface that gives "smart" ballasts a whole new meaning.  DALI offers substantial benefits over conventional analog dimming ballast systems and lighting controls.  Up to 64 ballasts can be operated on a single DALI controller and configured in up to 16 groups and 16 scenes for customized lighting design.  DALI components may be integrated into building management systems and are capable of providing feedback regarding lighting system condition and energy consumption. QUICKTRONIC DALI ballasts feature continuous dimming down to 1% with programmable fade and anti-flash circuitry, universal voltage and SYLVANIA's QUICK 60+® system warranty when combined with OCTRON® , PENTRON® or DULUX®  lamps.  Since each ballast can be programmed with its own address, lighting groups may be reassigned without rewiring.  QUICKTRONIC DALI ballasts are suitable for new installations or as a retrofit with existing control wiring.  Simply specify "DALI compatible" to ensure seamless operation among fixtures and control devices.
