SYLVANIA QUICTRONIC High Efficiency (QHE) electronic T8 ISH (PLUS) balasts feature high light output and an energy savings of up to 5% (up to 4 watts) over standard T8 ISH ballasts. Multi-lamp capability for up to three lamps allows for fewer ballasts per fixture and/or tandem wiring options. These new types feature a ballast factor of 1.18-1.20, and may be used to operate full wattage as well as energy saving OCTRON T8 fluorescent lamps. QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency (QHE) operates from 120V through 277V, eliminating wrong voltage wiring errors. The ballasts have less than 10% THD for high system performance and operate at >42kHz to reduce potential interference with infrared control systems.

QUICKTRONIC High Efficiency (QHE) ballasts meet the most demanding utility rebate requirements, and the added energy savings they deliver helps provide a quicker payback and improved life cycle cost.
