OSRAM SYLVANIA INTRODUCES NEW LONG LIFE, HIGH EFFICIENCY HALOBRIGHT HALOGEN LAMPS

New York, N.Y. (October 21, 2004) - Halogen lamps are getting a new look with the introduction of SYLVANIA HaloBRIGHT(tm) halogen soft glass lamps.  HaloBRIGHT lamps combine the brilliant white light of halogen lamps with the familiarity of standard incandescent light bulbs. The lamps can be used almost anywhere conventional incandescent lamps are used, and fit most standard fixtures.

The Benefits:
HaloBRIGHT lamps are smart energy saving alternatives to incandescent lamps. Watt for watt HaloBRIGHT lamps deliver higher lumens than standard incandescent lamps, and have a 3000 hour average rated life, which is up to four times longer than incandescent lamps.

The Technology:
HaloBRIGHT lamps contain compact quartz halogen capsules to produce a whiter, brighter light than incandescent lamps. 

The Applications:
Their bright light, long life and safety features make the HaloBRIGHT line of lamps ideal for use in hard to reach light fixtures, reading lamps, ceiling fans, bathroom fixtures, chandeliers and vanity strips.  The lamp's superior quality and efficient light output means this highly versatile lamp can replace incandescent light in a wide range of applications. They are available in B11 candelabra, G25 globe, and compact BT 15 configurations ranging from 40 to 150-watts and are available with white or clear glass  .
