OSRAM SYLVANIA INTRODUCES NEW LONG LIFE, HIGH EFFICIENCY HALOBRIGHT HALOGEN LAMPS

Portland, OR., (November 10, 2004) - Halogen lamps are getting a new look with the introduction of HaloBRIGHT(tm) halogen soft glass lamps from OSRAM SYLVANIA.  HaloBRIGHT lamps combine the brilliant white light of halogen lamps with the familiarity of standard incandescent light bulbs. The lamps can be used almost anywhere conventional incandescent lamps are used, and fit most standard fixtures.

The Benefits:
HaloBRIGHT lamps are smart energy saving alternatives to incandescent lamps. Watt for watt HaloBRIGHT lamps deliver higher lumens than standard incandescent lamps, and have a 3000 hour average rated life, which is up to four times longer than incandescent lamps.

The Technology:
HaloBRIGHT lamps contain compact quartz halogen capsules to produce a whiter, brighter light than incandescent lamps.
