New York, N.Y. – (April 12-14, 2005) – Recycling fluorescent lamps is not only good for the environment, in many states it’s the law.  As experts in the field of lighting, SYLVANIA LIGHTING SERVICES (SLS), can help building and facility managers ensure they are meeting all federal and state requirements for lamp disposal.

SLS offers customers environmentally friendly and legally compliant lamp and ballast disposal nationwide. When SLS personnel complete lighting retrofits or maintenance calls, all spent mercury-containing lamps are shipped to a lamp recycler for processing, taking the responsibility for removal and disposal out of cutomers’ hands.
