SYLVANIA LIGHTING SERVICES’ NEW UPGRADE PROGRAM CAN PROVIDE CUSTOMERS WITH POSITIVE CASH FLOW FROM MONTH ONE
Las Vegas, NV (May 30, 2006) – SYLVANIA Lighting Services (SLS), the leader in technology and maintenance, announces Retro on the 8’s, a new upgrade program that combines the highest quality customer service with state-of-the-art SYLVANIA T8 fluorescent systems.
Facility managers who made the decision to install T8 systems between 1988 and 1998 have already saved their companies thousands of dollars in energy costs. Retro on the 8’s can help do that again. For a fixed monthly fee, SYLVANIA Lighting Services will retrofit and maintain building systems for a period of 68 or 88 months. The Retro on the 8’s turnkey solution includes:
- A trouble-free extended service package covering all labor and materials for the 68 or 88 month contract term.
- Scheduled service visits.
- Interim group relamp in about 3 – 3.5 years after new lamps reach 70-80% of average rated life.
- 8 fixture test installation for 80 days.
“We can offer Retro on the 8’s to our customers for one monthly fee that is typically less than their energy and maintenance savings, thereby producing a positive cash flow. Retro on the 8’s will be very attractive to facilities where systems are over 8 years old or installed between 1988 and 1998, utility rates exceed $.08 per kilowatt hour, operating cycles exceed 3,800 hours and where current systems have been poorly maintained.
The primary SYLVANIA products installed under this program are OCTRON® 28 Watt 800 Series XP SUPERSAVER ECOLOGIC T8 fluorescent lamps and QUICKTRONIC® 2, 3 and 4-lamp UNV/ISL or ISN electronic ballasts.
