OSRAM SYLVANIA Meets Décor Needs with Daylight Family

(Sept. 16, 2007) – With the proliferation of reality TV shows, it was only a matter of time before consumers demanded that showed both them and their environments in their truest, most natural states. No longer satisfied with the yellow light of traditional incandescent light bulbs, they sought – and got – a crisp, clean light that enhances décors and makes furniture and fabrics “pop” with SYLVANIA’s Daylight™ line of light bulbs.

Daylight
Daylight incandescent bulbs offer versatility for every room of the home. Daylight Plus
Daylight Plus™ halogen products are perfect for outdoor applications, such as driveways, yards, and patios. Exclusive SYLVANIA halogen PAR light bulbs are made with special neodymium lenses that make their light whiter than standard halogen light bulbs. The white light of a Daylight Plus floodlight makes objects stand out more clearly and crisply than they would with a standard halogen PAR or an incandescent floodlight.

Daylight Plus light bulbs deliver all of the benefits of halogen light in the similar shape of the standard incandescent A19 bulb. They are available in 60, 75 and 100-watt (W) Frost and Clear, as well as 60W and 75W Crystal. Daylight Plus also is available in Par 20, 30 and, 38 for directional needs.

Daylight Extra
With the new Daylight Extra™ products, consumers can have the more natural light of Daylight products in a 13W mini twist CFL, designed to replace a 60W incandescent bulb. Daylight Extra CFLs have a color temperature of 3500 Kelvin, thus producing whiter light than other compact fluorescent products. They also save energy, lower energy costs, and can be used in virtually any room of the house.
