SYLVANIA QUICKTRONIC PROStart programmed rapid start electronic ballasts operate linear and U bend equivalent T8 lamps in applications where extended lamp life is required. QUICKTRONIC PROStart ballasts provide optimum starting conditions to provide over 50,000 switching cycles for occupancy sensor and building control system applications.

Familes include 1-4 lamp Normal (0.88BF) and Xtreme (0.71BF) Ballast Factor models.  In addition to the Normal (0.88BF) Ballast Factor models, this unique family features two Xtreme System Solution energy saving product lines.

The Sylvania Xtreme System combines our XPS programmed rapid start electronic ballast with OCTRON XPS high performance T8 lamps to provide 30,000 hours of lamp life while providing 35% energy savings over  magnetic T12 systems.

The SUPERSAVER® Xtreme System combines our XPS programmed rapid start electronic ballast with OCTRON SUPERSAVER high performance T8 lamps to provide the lowest power T8 system available, saving over 43% in energy compared to magnetic T12 systems.
