A Wide Range of Options
There are over 125 different SYLVANIA DULUX® compact fluorescent lamps. Many wattages, sizes and shapes are available in 2-pin, 4-pin and medium base configurations with a choice of color temperatures.
Exceptional Energy Efficiency and Long Life
Some DULUX lamps offer energy savings of up to 70 percent compared with incandescent lamps of similar light output, along with an extended 10,000-hour rated service life.
The Amalgam Advantage
Triple-tube DULUX T/E/IN lamps feature a special amalgam compound that enables them to maintain full lumen output through a wide range of temperatures, irrespective of the lamp’s burning position.
End-of-Life Sensing
Innovative end-of-life sensing technology in DULUX EOL lamps causes them to shut themselves down at the end of their long service life without any overheating problems.
Superb Color Rendering
The rare earth triphosphors that coat the fluorescent tubes of DULUX lamps are formulated to achieve the best possible color appearance. All DULUX lamps are rated at a high 82 CRI (color rendering index).
Compatible Color
DULUX lamps are available in five color temperatures—2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4100K and 5000K—to allow compatibility with any incandescent, halogen or other fluorescent light source.
ECOLOGIC® Compacts
Lamps in the DULUX ECOLOGIC® family feature reduced levels of mercury and are designed to pass the Federal TCLP test* for hazardous waste determination.
*Refers to the Federal Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)
test for hazardous waste determination as it currently exists.
Unique Delta Tube Configuration
The distinctive delta configuration of SYLVANIA DULUX® T & T/E/I triple-tube compacts was developed to deliver the maximum amount of lumens from the shortest possible lamp. The result is a lamp family that offers as much as 25 percent more lumens per inch of length than other compact fluorescent lamps. Because of their compact size, most DULUX T & T/E/IN lamps can be used as low wattage replacements for standard A-19 or A-21 incandescent lamps without the need for a larger fixture. Whether you choose the 2-pin DULUX T for a more affordable magnetic ballast system or the 4-pin DULUX T/E/IN with amalgam for a flicker-free electronic ballast system, you’ll get high performance along with unbeatable energy efficiency and long lamp life.
A New Alternative to HID Lighting
The 42W DULUX T/E/IN produces an astonishing 3200 initial lumens, similar to the output of a 50W metal halide lamp. With the latest exciting new fixture designs, it is now possible to use multiple DULUX T/E/IN lamps in a high bay fixture to produce light output equivalent to an HID system of up to three times greater wattage. And DULUX T/E/IN systems offer better color rendering and superior lumen maintenance without the long warm-up times and annoying ballast hum of high wattage HID lighting. They also provide instant restrike and dimming capability.
Balanced Lamp and Ballast Combinations
OSRAM SYLVANIA developed the original SYSTEM SOLUTION: thefirst matched lamp and ballast systems optimized for performance and longer life. Today, we have used our unparalleled resources in both lamp and ballast technology to develop state-of-the-art QUICKTRONIC® electronic ballast systems for DULUX® compact fluorescent lamps with exclusive performance features such as QUICKSENSE® patented end-oflamp- life sensing technology and PROStart™ programmed rapid start circuitry. QUICKTRONIC Professional CF ballasts offer flicker-free operation for all standard 4-pin DULUX lamps up to 42W. High performance ballasts are also available for DULUX L T5 lamps, including the QUICKTRONIC PHO DIM electronic dimming ballast.
QUICK 60+® The Smart Warranty
