We are a vertically integrated manufacturer and all of our powders are produced on site in our state of the art facility in Towanda, PA, with full support from engineering and manufacturing personnel trained in the disciplines of Six Sigma.

SYLVANIA thermal spray powders are manufactured to stand up to the most rigorous applications, providing superior wear and corrosion resistance. Common industry applications include: automotive (piston rings), aerospace (jet turbines), paper manufacturing (dryer rolls), plastic injection molding (extrusion screws) and glass production (mold coating). In addition there are opportunities to replace standard chrome plating with thermal spray powders. SYLVANIA powders are designed for use in all of the major thermal spray application methods including HVOF, Plasma and Flame Spray.
