1. ARE THEY LEGAL?
Absolutely yes. They meet FMVSS 108 and CMVSS 108 requirements. SYLVANIA's Cool Blue halogen headlights are the super cool, street legal alternative that provide the distinctive visual impact of brilliant white light at a cost only slightly higher than standard halogen replacement bulbs.
2. ARE THEY REALLY BLUE?
No. Cool Blue headlights are coated with a blue absorption coating to deliver a more intense white light that meets SAE white color standards and photometric requirements, making them 100% street legal in the US. They are perceived as white light.
3. ARE THEY AVAILABLE FOR MY VEHICLE?
Most likely yes. The SYLVANIA Cool Blue family of lamps is now available in the following lamp types: 9003 CB, 9004 CB, 9005 CB, 9005XS CB, 9006 CB, 9006XS CB, 9007 CB and H7 CB. Cool Blue sealed beams are also available in H6054 CB, H4656 CB, H4651 CB, H4666 CB and H6024 CB making it easy for you to discover a new dimension in night driving.
