Flood and Spot lights are versitile accent lights which allow light to be directed at objects or surfaces to provide targetted illumination. Wide flood, flood, narrow flood, spot, narrow spot, what do these terms mean?  They are terms used to describe how a light source and a fixture direct light.  Flood lights push the light out to illuminate large objects or objects close by.  Spot lights push the light in to illuminate small objects or objects far away.  Flood and spot lights come in many shapes, sizes, wattages, and source types to light everything from a flower vase on your table to the Statue of Liberty.
