CAPSYLITE® Lamps Offer More PAR38 Options
Versatile CAPSYLITE® PAR38 lamps can be used for virtually any purpose, indoors or out. They are ideal for accent , merchandise displays and general illumination in homes, retail outlets, offices, lobbies and public buildings. Since it is important to be able to select a lamp that matches the specific requirements of a given application, SYLVANIA offers 44 different PAR38 configurations with six different wattages—45W, 60W, 75W, 90W, 120W and 250W—and five different beam spreads. SYLVANIA CAPSYLITE PAR38 lamps also offer superior performance, with an average rated service life of up to 4500 hours and the exclusive SPL™ optics package that generates an exceptionally precise and even beam.
New 250W CAPSYLITE® PAR38
SYLVANIA now offers a 250W halogen PAR38 lamp. This powerful lamp has a center beam candlepower rating of 46,500cd in the spot (10°) version. The 250W CAPSYLITE PAR38 also delivers the superior color rendering of halogen light, the convenience of using a standard medium base fixture with no ballast, and a 4500-hour life, making it an excellent alternative to HID .
The Long and the Short of PAR30
With a maximum overall length of just 3s inches, the standard CAPSYLITE® PAR30 lamp is designed for use in shallow recessed, track and downlight fixtures. And it is the only PAR30 lamp to feature high performance SPL™ optics that ensure high center beam candlepower and a smooth, even beam. “Long neck” CAPSYLITE PAR30LN lamps also feature SPL optics and are ideal for any fixture designed to accommodate an old-fashioned BR30 incandescent reflector lamp, such as standard household recessed ceiling cans. Since recent legislation has outlawed some higher wattage, energy-wasting BR30 lamps, relamping with brighter, whiter and more efficient CAPSYLITE lamps is an obvious choice.
Big Performance, Little Lamp
The compact size of CAPSYLITE PAR20 lamps makes them ideal for some of the most stylish track fixtures, as well as indoor and outdoor display and accent applications. When a CAPSYLITE PAR20 is used to replace a standard incandescent R20 lamp, the benefits include: higher center beam candlepower, reduced energy costs, longer lamp life and, of course, bright white halogen light with excellent color rendering. CAPSYLITE PAR20 is an extremely attractive package.
The Line Voltage Alternative
Since CAPSYLITE® DESIGNER® 16 halogen PAR lamps can be installed in any standard fixture, they offer a cost effective alternative to low voltage halogen , with no need for special wiring or expensive transformers. The aluminized reflector of the DESIGNER 16 lamp is enclosed in a white ceramic casing which preserves its clean, attractive appearance even when the lamp is installed in bare sockets. CAPSYLITE DESIGNER 16 lamps are ideal for high jewelry, glassware and other fine merchandise.
The World’s Smallest Halogen PAR Lamp
With an overall length of just 24 inches and a diameter of 1w inches, CAPSYLITE PAR14 lamps are the smallest line voltage halogen PAR lamps on the market today. SYLVANIA developed these lamps to be a direct replacement for R14 incandescent reflector lamps in display cases and other locations where a very compact light source is required. The pure, white halogen light of CAPSYLITE PAR14s makes objects seem more vibrant and true to life and makes colors appear richer and more saturated.
