Choose wall sconces and use our decorative Designer Plus products in the foyer to add a warm, welcoming touch.

Try washing one side of a hallway with light by using linear fluorescent bulbs in valances or coves.

Consider using night-lights or dimming hallway fixtures to provide a safe “path of light” at night.

In areas with higher ceilings (above 8 feet), consider using our halogen track lights to highlight photographs and artwork in hallways and entry areas.

In hallways, try placing some fixtures high on walls, directing light downward.  This will add drama and a feeling of spaciousness.

Using a halogen spotlight, accent an interesting painting, floral arrangement, or piece of furniture at the end of a hallway.

Place wall or ceiling-mounted lights and switches at the top and bottom of stairways for safety.
