A Tour of LIGHTPOINT
Upon entering LIGHTPOINT you will be greeted in the entry vestibule by a mini-light show, our Paint with Light feature. Now step into the main area of LIGHTPOINT's large gallery space where you'll find several portable displays showing the breadth of OSRAM SYLVANIA's product lines.
To the left, you'll notice our Featured Product Wall where you can see and touch the very latest product innovations -- from general commercial and residential products to specialty products for automotive, miniature and theatrical applications.
Just a few steps away lies the Visual Performance Room, where fluorescent systems are used to demonstrate the singular and combined effects of indirect lighting, directional lighting, wall washing and downlighting.
In the center of LIGHTPOINT is the Multi-Purpose Room where the fundamentals of lighting are illustrated via the room's side wall demonstrations which show vision, optics and units of measure. Color booths help visitors compare the color characteristics of several light sources.
To the right of the Multi-Purpose Room is our newly-remodeled area, called The Showroom. Here you'll find ideas on how to decorate your home with light, and make sure that the lighting complements your home furnishings.
To the back of the facility is the Applied Technologies Wall where one can examine the technical aspects of lamps and ballasts. The Wall was carefully constructed to answer questions -- often posed by specifiers, utilities and end-users -- regarding light output, energy, and power quality.
