Quote from John Myers, manager of plant operations at South
Florida Baptist Hospital:
"SYLVANIA enabled us to increase our light output and reduce our wattage. Removing the sub-par lighting levels was in the best interests of our patients, our physicians, our employees and hospital visitors. The installation of the electronic ballasts and T-8s eliminates the flicker presented by the T-12s and reduces eye stress. We now have a state of the art lighting system and a better office environment."
Quote from Larry Rubin, director of facilities management for Baycare Health System:
"We have seen a decrease in energy costs. Because we feel this job was such a success, we have plans to pursue energy retrofits in three more hospitals."
