"Cookies" - Information Stored Automatically on Your Computer and Web Tracking

When you view one of our Web sites, we may store some data on your computer in the form of a "cookie" to automatically recognize your computer or device the next time you visit. Cookies can help us in many ways, for example, by allowing us to tailor a Web site to better match your interests or to store your password to save you having to re-enter it each time. By visiting our Web Sites, you consent to the placement of cookies in your browser and device in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to receive cookies, please configure your Internet browser to erase all cookies from your computer's hard drive, block all cookies or to receive a warning before a cookie is stored. If you do decide to block cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of all of the sites features.
Some browsers have incorporated Do Not Track (“DNT”) preferences. Most of these features, when turned on, send signals to the web site you are visiting that you do not wish to have information about your online searching and browsing activities collected and used.  As there is not yet a common agreement about how to interpret DNT signals, we do not honor DNT signals from web site browsers at this time.  However, you may refuse or delete cookies.  If you refuse or delete cookies, some of our web site functionality may be impaired.  Please refer to your browser’s Help instructions to learn more about how to manage cookies and the use of other tracking technologies.

International Data Transfer

We may transfer your personal data to any of our worldwide affiliates when processing data. We may also transfer your personal data to a third party outside your country of origin. We have implemented commercially reasonable and adequate contractual, physical, technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

We understand the importance of taking extra precautions to protect the privacy and safety of children. We will not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13, or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, without insisting that they seek prior parental consent when required by applicable law. We will only use or disclose personal data about a child to the extent permitted by law, to seek verifiable parental consent pursuant to local law and regulations or to protect a child.  If we learn that we have collected the personal data of a child under 13, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
If at any time a parent needs to access, correct, or delete data associated with a child’s use of our Web Sites and services, they may contact us by emailing Privacy.AME@LEDVANCE.com.

To protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, use, or alteration and against unauthorized disclosure or access, we utilize reasonable physical, technical and organizational security measures. Unfortunately, there is no complete assurance of security in transit or storage of any data that you transmit. Your personal data may be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of any of the physical, technical, or organizational assets.
